Title: Purchasing Manager
Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Overview:
Are you a seasoned purchasing professional with a passion for the cosmetics and beauty industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at NYNES collective, a leading nail polish retailer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of all nail polish brands and related products. In addition to working  closely with our merchandising team, you will source new suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all brands and managing inventory level of over 27,000 skus

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, sales reps, and negotiate pricing

• Stay up-to-date with new collections, current prices, pricing changes, and promotions/deals.

• Maintain a healthy inventory by identifying low stock brands, placing orders, and following up on incoming orders

• Utilize inventory management systems to build and close PO’s

• Have a thorough understanding of the buying and receiving processes

• Provide in depth inventory analysis on a bi-weekly basis to maintain optimal inventory levels

• Report and minimize levels of overstock and deadstock inventory & making actionable recommendations to sell through

• Monitor and grow category performance from a financial point of view and sell throughs to maintain a healthy inventory

• Assist the merchandising team in product creation by providing detailed product information and pricing

• Review and analyze market trends to forecast product demand & identify new opportunities for revenue streams, cost savings and efficiency

• Growing and expanding selection of brands and product lines

• Collaborate with key members in Finance, Merchandising & Marketing teams to manage inventory health,  maximize product performance, identify new suppliers/products & more

• Place and create Wholesale Sales Orders

• Assist in the analysis, moving, and minimization of overstock inventory

• Identify opportunities to maximize sales and minimize costs

• Develop and implement new processes to grow and develop team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement in the cosmetics or beauty industry

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google docs and experience with an ERP system

• Knowledge of the cosmetics and beauty industry is a plus

Salary Range: 60k - 80k yearly salary
